Event description

Description

Farnsfield will see the return of its successful ‘on-your-doorstep’ music festival this summer, on Saturday 20th July '19.

Now in its seventh year, Farnstock ’19 “Change“ is looking to be bigger and better than ever, so save the date for what promises to be the hottest party around!

This popular local family event will showcase 12 hours of live music and DJs across 2 stages, with a fantastic full line up of artists from midday to midnight.

Also back by popular demand is Farnstock’s mini beer and cider festival, with a range of locally brewed ales and ciders to tempt any palate as well as our Prosecco & Gin Bar!!

Arts & Crafts a cinema marquee and plenty of family friendly entertainment throughout the day.

This year our theme is: change.

Farnstock 2019 will be the 7th year of our magnificent festival that has raised approximately £30,000 whilst having a good time with the school kids and community.

The current organisers have the “Seven Year Itch” and feel it’s time to follow Mr Walker and retire.

If you individually or as a group of people feel you would like to take things forward then please get in touch.

We look forward to Farnstock 2019 being our best year yet and hope to see you all there.

It’s been awesome partying with you.

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

No, as long as you have a valid ticket, you will be admitted on site.

However only over 18 year olds will be issued with a wristband which will allow them to be served at the bar. If you are fortunate enough to look under 18, please bring photo ID with you.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

We have parking on the old school field in the village on Far Back Lane near the entrance to the Plough public house, which will be sign posted.

The Sherwood Arrow runs into the village and stops outside the Lion Public House.

There is a Bus from Mansfield that also runs through Rainworth and stops at the Lion Public House.

There will be a vehicle drop off at the main gate.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

We will have well stocked licenced bars on site, so due to licencing laws NO alcohol is allowed to be bought onto the site.

We also have an array of reasonably priced food outlets on site, but will not object to you bringing your own picnic.

Please do support the food and drink suppliers as being a charity run event we do earn a fee from having them here!

Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Via our web site www.farnstock.com Facebook, Twitter, directly at farnstock@outlook.com leave a message at the school reception for Justin Hevness or Cat Parks, or grab one of the organisers in the school playground

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes you are welcome to swop and transfer your tickets with friends and family. All we would ask, is that in the interest of fairness you do not sell it over face value.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes

What is the refund policy?

Unfortunately once purchased there is no refund. (but see above).

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

Yes we are OK with that as long as the Adult, Child or OAP ticket matches appropriately.
