We are focusing on adolescent wellbeing - how to manage the opportunities and risks posed by smartphones and digital technology.
Our Safeguarding Unit will be joined by experts with a huge breadth of experience from education, not-for-profit, sport, academia and the international sphere - including Katharine Birbalsingh, Headmistress and Co-Founder of Michaela Community School, Sophie Winkleman, campaigner for phone-free schools and Katie Rigg, European Commission - Online Protection of Minors. They - along with many others - will share their expertise on this important topic, discuss what they are seeing on the ground and provide insights on the future and what we can be doing now to best serve the young people in our care.
It promises to be a stimulating and energising day of conversation and learning. Delegates will have the opportunity to connect and share their own experience and best practice, whilst hearing from peers from a range of disciplines and backgrounds.
