Ever dreamed of designing your own garments?

This course will show you how to design capsule collection or to play with some design ideas to upgrade your wardrobe. This creative workshop is open to all levels.

You can join each week to improve your design/ illustration skills to build up your portfolio or to create a collection for production.

(we recommend 4 consecutive weeks to get most out of this workshop)

You can join any time

Receive individual advice from design experts how to further your design/illustration concepts for your business or further your individual skills.

Get inspirations within the classroom from our 'library' of various(lingerie) magazines that you can use for inspirations or bring your own.

You will learn in the 1st module :

- how/where to gather ideas

-how to create a fashion template in easy steps and how it will be used

-how to Illustrate /draw your ideas (using provided templates to create your own figurine to industry standards)

-receive constructive feedback for your work progress & advice what to focus on for your next design steps

-advice what to focus on /prepare for your next session

- each student will receive individual design support ,based on their individual project needs

You will learn in your 2nd module :

-into detail: this session will go more into detail = functionality of your designs

-understanding garment / lingerie finishing types to include into your drawings:

seams/darts /pleats/buttons/zippers etc

-how to Illustrate /draw your ideas on garments that will work on the human body

-receive constructive feedback for your work progress & advice what to focus on for your next design steps

-advice what to focus on /prepare for your next session

- each student will receive individual design support ,based on their individual project needs

You will learn in your 3rd module :

- the difference between technical drawings/illustrations

- how to do a technical drawing

-continue your collection of your own designs for production/manufacturing

-receive constructive feedback for your work progress & advice what to focus on for your next design steps

-advice what to focus on /prepare for your next session

- each student will receive individual design support ,based on their individual project needs

You will learn in your 4th module:

-finalizing your capsule collection and getting ready for production OR art presentation

-receive constructive feedback from experts to build your portfolio or start your own brand.

What you will need to join:

This workshop is open to all levels and you can join any module on its own or several

- each module you will receive a small list of items to bring along, including:

pencils /paper etc

PLEASE NOTE:

We are sure you will love this workshop and to keep everyone happy and safe we are following government guidelines and all students will be requested to wear a mask in the classroom, each student will receive their own mask , hand sanitizers etc and there will be plenty of space within the classroom for each student to keep distance . All classes are deliberately small with a maximum of 5 students only.
