Janet Coyle, Director Trade & Growth, SVC2UK at London & Partners

Janet is Director Trade & Growth at London & Partners, the Mayor of London's International Promotion Agency. She leads programmes to help start ups and scale ups to grow and win international business. Janet also runs Silicon Valley comes to the UK and has led a number of Female Founder Trade Missions to Silicon Valley, Paris and New York building tribes and communities that continue to support each other on a daily basis. Janet has been nominated in the top 50 most influential women in tech by Computer Weekly for the second year running and was also listed in the top 50 leading lights for kindness in leadership by Women of the Future and the Financial Times in 2018. Janet is also co-Chair of Tech London Advocates scale up group and non exec Director for Rocketseed.

Christine Goulay, Sustainability and Innovation Leader at Kering

As Sustainable Innovation Senior Manager at Kering, Christine’s work focuses on innovations that can fast track a transition to a sustainable and circular apparel industry. Previously, she was Kering’s Sustainable Sourcing Specialist, focusing on Tier 4 raw material sourcing. Christine also worked in INSEAD’s Entrepreneurship Centre from 2009-2015, teaching and mentoring students and startups looking to incorporate impact into their business models. From 2006-2009, Christine served as the Business Development Manager of the socially conscious apparel start-up, Edun Live (founded by Ali Hewson and Bono). She also practiced corporate law for three years in the venture capital and private equity sectors. Christine attended Harvard University. She holds a law degree from Boston College Law School and an MBA from INSEAD.

Jenny Cossons, Chief Partnerships Officer at Lyst

As Chief Partnership Officer at Lyst, Jenny is responsible for defining the global fashion search platform’s product offering, leading on strategy to create the world’s best inventory and experience for customers and partners. Prior to joining Lyst, Jenny was Group Head of Brand Relations at the NET-A-PORTER Group, where she spent four years leading global brand liaison for NET-A-PORTER, THE OUTNET and MR PORTER. Before that, she was Director of Fashion & Beauty Advertising at Condé Nast, where she played an integral part of the early development of the company’s digital department and launched the division’s first client-focused team.

Penny Grivea, Managing Director at Rituals

In her current role as Managing Director of Rituals, UK and Ireland Penny has been instrumental in repositioning and driving the brand’s retail, wholesale and e-commerce business. During her tenure, the business has grown threefold, with brand awareness now at a historic high. Penny is the perfect brand ambassador for Rituals, passionately embodying their values and philosophy which incite us to slow down and appreciate the priceless moments of everyday life, she is a strong believer in the difference that balance brings to our working lives. Championing the benefits of taking time to reflect and encouraging wellbeing for the team in work and practice Penny empowers the Rituals team with bold, energetic and fun experiences together to further build on the relationships, camaraderie and overall empathy of the team. “People are first, having a successful brand means you have to empower people to feel successful.” Penny has a proven track record of transformational and sustainable growth within the luxury sector, with prior roles at Harrods, Selfridges, Korres, the fashion accessory brand Folli Follie and the fine jewellers Georg Jenson.

Clara Chappaz, Chief Growth Officer at Vestiaire Collective

Clara joined Vestiaire Collective as Chief Growth Officer in early 2019, leading customer acquisition and retention for the leading global community-driven platform for desirable pre-owned fashion. She transitioned from her role as VP of International for Lyst, the LVMH-backed fashion search engine based out of London, where she successfully launched the website in 7 countries around the world. Before that she worked as a consultant at BCG in New York City, advising global fashion brands on their strategy, and as Director of Marketplace and SVP Marketing at ZALORA, the first fashion e-commerce platform in South-East Asia.

Clara completed her MBA at Harvard Business School, where she focused on entrepreneurship. She has an MSc in Business Administration & Management from the ESSEC Business School in Paris.

James Radford, Director Franchise & Wholesale at Dune Group

James, International Franchise and Wholesale Director at The Dune Group, has over 20 years commercial experience in the fashion, sports lifestyle and footwear industry; focused on strategic business development, across multiple sales channels and markets; industry experience in 5 continents and more than 40 markets. In his current role James is responsible for developing the groups third party business globally, across Franchise, Distribution, and Wholesale, with the ultimate goal being to develop the global recognition, market share and ensuring long-term profitability. Previous to this James was General Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at FitFlop, where he was responsible for the development of the business in 26 markets, including two of the company's three subsidiaries in the UK and Germany. He spent 10 years prior to this working for the adidas group in The Netherlands and Germany, heading up the Rockport International sales and merchandising teams in EMEA and APAC, as well as leading the key account sales team that managed the Footlocker Europe business across Europe. James started his career at the Pentland group, where he held multiple sales position in the UK.

Sandy Khan, Founder & Director at IN-CO. (moderator)

Sandy has vast experience on talent acquisition working with Google, Microsoft, Linkedin and many lead organisations. Founded the online platform IN-CO.to create a smart space for top professionals to share growth stories. The IN-CO. leadership speaker series (powered by LinkedIn) is supported by leaders from the world's best brands. Creating 'smart' spaces to enable brands to engage, educate and excite leadership talent in London and globally.
