A great opportunity for students to practice their fashion illustration skills. There will be a live clothed model offering a variety of poses to work from. Students will be exploring and developing their own styles of illustration. Experimentation and creativity with materials is encouraged. Guidance will be given, with one on one pointers throughout the session. All levels welcome. There will be a refreshment break after the first hour.
Understanding proportion, line and balance of the model
Development of individual illustration styles
Experimentation with materials in representing clothing, pattern and texture
Anita Barry has a degree in Womanswear design from Edinburgh College of Art, winning the Betty Davies Style Award. She then went on to work in the fashion industry: in design for a luxury brand; and in buying for a leading high street brand. She currently runs life drawing classes around London, following a lifelong passion.
