Headline set from star of Live at the Apollo... LINDSEY SANTORO!

Lindsey Santoro still keeps a diary. But she’s not 13 years old daydreaming about her latest crush and sleepover plans. She is a 37-year-old working class, no-nonsense Brummy, whose days are more likely to involve thrush cream and a bargy with a bus driver. She is loud, real, relatable and most importantly, infectiously funny. Her life can get messy, her observations are frank but her self-awareness and direct approach will have you roaring with laughter, as she shares excerpts of her journal across four different entries.

Since appearing as part of Best in Class in 2018, Lindsey has made numerous appearances across TV, radio and podcasts, including Live at the Apollo, Comedy Central Live and Sarah Millican’s Elephant in the Room & Fresh From The Fringe (BBC Radio 4). She has recently supported Joe Lycett on tour including support at Wembley Arena. Other accolades include 2021 Finalist at the British Comedian of the Year.

With support from the excellent PAUL PIRIE!

A brilliant natural comedian, Paul Pirie comes packed full of energy and uses every ounce to maximum effect, with superb delivery. Paul was awarded Scottish Comedian of the Year in 2006 and since then has gone from strength to strength.

Paul’s career has encompassed TV, film and radio alongside his skills as a stand up, and he is now one of the biggest Scottish acts on the UK Comedy Circuit. Paul has had a consecutive succession of sell out shows at The Glasgow Comedy Festival and has also performed at Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Leith Festival.

Paul’s hilarity and comedic ability has earned him huge popularity with comedy goers and bookers across the world, gigging from Australia to shows for the Armed Forces. He’s a confident and intelligent comedian who makes it his mission to work and entertain the audience. Paul’s material is superbly individual and always delivers a refreshing burst of laugh out comedy that leaves audiences in raptures.

What is the age limit?

Generally the shows are suitable for 18+ but younger people are allowed in the gig room if accompanied by an adult - but they cannot be in the main bar unsupervised. 16+ would be a fair guide regarding content but its your responsibility to make that judgement!
