Description

Handel's Zadok the Priest opens the concert followed by Mozart's Ave Verum conducted by the London Chorale's distinguished Music Director, Roy Wales, whose work with voices around the world and in such prestigious venues as the Royal Albert Hall have reached tens of thousands and won him numerous awards.

Concerto de Aranjuez was composed by Joaquin Rodrigo at the end of the Spanish Civil War. The exotic and serene music evokes the atmosphere Spain, the Royal Palace of Aranjuez outside Madrid and is probably the world's most famous guitar concerto in the world

Faure's Requiem, featuring the Pie Jesus - a prayer to Jesus, is a timeless masterpiece that transports the listener to another world of beauty and rest. In the final ending 'angels lead you to paradise'.
