An improv match takes place over two half times, during which two teams of improvisers face off, performing scenes based on themes and challenges set by the referee. After each scene, the audience votes to decide which team earns the point! Expect laughter, surprising twists, clever teamwork, and plenty of spontaneous fun. Every match is full of memorable moments and hilarious scenes!
French British Improvisation (FBI) is a French improv group based in London, dedicated to bringing the art of improvisation to the city's French-speaking community. For over a decade, FBI has been a cornerstone of London's Francophone cultural scene. We host regular performances, including long forms and the popular "Match d’impro" format, where two teams of improvisers engage in a friendly yet competitive game. We also regularly take the stage at shows and festivals across the Francophone community in Europe.
Our next show in French will be Saturday, 20 September 2025 at the Courtyard Theatre. Tickets here.
