[FBMH-IIDS-PGR] Divisional Showcase 2026

The Division of Informatics, Imaging and Data Sciences is excited to host its 10th Postgraduate Researcher Showcase in January 2026. This two-day event will take place at Vaughan House, Portsmouth Street, Manchester, M13 9GB on Tuesday, 27 January 2026 and Thursday, 29 January 2026.

What to Expect

This showcase is a fantastic opportunity to:

Discover the fascinating research conducted by your fellow postgraduate researchers.

Receive constructive feedback from academics and peers in a friendly, informal environment.

Engage with diverse topics spanning the Division.

Each presentation will be limited to 10 minutes, followed by a 5 minutes discussion. Presentations will be assessed by senior academic staff, who will provide individual feedback. Based on these assessments, prizes will be awarded for the best presentations. Catering will be provided during the event. Abstract Submission

All PGR students (except those in submission pending status) are required to submit a 250-word abstract for their talk by Monday, 15 December 2025. Students in submission pending status are welcome to present but are not required to do so.
