This is the first of a series of short meetings which are designed to explore possibilities for collaborative projects in engineering, translational biosciences and medicine with a business focus. Speakers will include representatives from both faculties, who will provide a short overview of their research and potential for collaboration. The intended audience ranges from researchers from basic biomedical or physical science disciplines, through to clinical colleagues. We will begin with lunch at 1330, followed by four short talks:

There will be plenty of time for questions and informal interaction. The meeting will be held on Monday 7th January in Stopford room 1.446 with lunch available from 1330; we aim to finish by 1530. We hope that the meeting will give rise to new opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration.
