About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

This is your chance to find out what makes studying at Moulton so special, whether you are looking at options for post-GCSE study or looking to upskill on one of our higher education courses (Foundation degrees, HNC, HND and BSc degree courses).

Our Open Events are an opportunity to discover all you need to know about our courses, see our beautiful campuses, discover our state-of-the-art facilities, meet our friendly staff and get a taste for life at Moulton.

Tutors will be on hand to give you all the detail about our courses and there will also be information available regarding our transport, accommodation, fees and funding. Tours are available so you can see the facilities that you will be using during your studies.

When completing the registration form please only fill in the details of the person who is interested in studying at the College.

Tours

Some of our tours are available for pre-booking. Demand for these tours is very high so we respectfully request that only one parent / carer accompanies the student on the tour. This is so that we can accommodate as many students as possible.

If the subject you are interested in isn't listed in the tour options it is not possible to pre-book tours for that subject and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis where applicable.

We regret that we may be unable to allow additional family members on to the tours due to high demand.

Frequently asked questions

What time do I need to arrive?

The Open Event will be running from 9am and finishes at 1pm. You are welcome to attend at any point during this time. If you have booked on to one of the tours we strongly advise arriving at least 15 minutes before the start time as it may take a while to get parked and booked in.

Where do I go when I arrive?

Make sure that you go to the correct gate when you arrive at the College - Gate 3, Holcot Campus (postcode for your satnav is NN3 7SX). Staff will be on hand to direct you to where to park and register.

Can I park at the Open Event?

Yes, there is ample free parking available at the campus.

I am interested in studying at HNC / HND or BSc degree level. Can I attend this event?

Yes, absolutely! These events are for anyone looking to study at Moulton from Entry Level through to Level 6 (undergraduate degree). Tutors will be on hand to speak to you about our higher education offer in animal behaviour and zoology, construction, leadership and management and sport.

Why are the tour numbers limited?

Our campus is very spread out so we use buses to move visitors around on tours. In order to ensure that as many students as possible get to see the facilities we limit the accompanying adults to just one person. This also ensures that everyone can be safely escorted around the campus.

My subject isn't listed for a tour - can I still look around?

It is still possible to look around the campus, subject specific tours are for those areas which are mainly based elsewhere in our estate for example the farm or equestrian centre.

I have booked to attend the event but am no longer able to attend. What should I do?

Don’t worry. Just use the link in your confirmation email to cancel your place so that someone else can attend in your place.

How long do tours last?

Please allow one hour for our subject tours except Agriculture which lasts approx. 1 hour 30 minutes.
