This Halloween, Gravy Girls invites you to their very first Halloween party: Feast of the Vanities.
Step inside an ancient church and a once-lavish banquet hall now left to ruin. Beauty has been left to decay, and jilted brides drift through the corridors looking for their long-departed fiances amidst sprawling lace and glowing chandeliers. Left restless and insatiable, they expect entertainment from their honored guests, or else it will be you served on a platter, among the feast of decayed treats and withered flowers.
Gravy Girls is an all-female collective of artists, designers, makers, and performers local to Gravesend. For this event, we’ve transformed the atmospheric setting of the Iron Pier at St Andrew’s Centre into an immersive installation - the perfect setting for a spooky night of music, art, and interactive performance.
🎭 Theme & Dress Code: The night is inspired by Victorian gothic romance (with Miss Havisham of Dickens’ Great Expectations as our muse). Some of our Gravy Girls will be haunting the space in ghostly wedding gowns. Dressing up is encouraged but not compulsory - feel free to interpret the theme as you wish!
