February 3D Animation - Stop Motion - P4 to P7

NOTE - this workshop has a morning or afternoon session (9am or 12.15pm)

Make your own animated film with 3D stop motion animation! Build and move your own creatures with help from a real animator! Join the other new animators and bring your creations to life with intuitive apps. All your films will be put online for you to show to everyone! Here's some older ones!

Stop motion is the quickest way to make an animated film with the exact ideas in your head. In this 2½ hr workshop you will choose your own type of creature, hero, monster, animal or even yourself! We'll help you make it into a plasticine puppet with fully moveable body parts along with all the objects and special effects you might need in your film. Make your creatures as simple or detailed as you like and of course you get to keep them!

Then comes the fun! Join in small groups and choose or make your own background places for your puppets. Make up a story or just animate your puppets solving puzzles or battling it out, adding your own voices or sound effects too.

Everyone will recieve a link to the films online (after a few days) and you can share them with anyone.

The Dunblane Centre is a wonderful, safe and family friendly venue with a cafe. Grown ups are free to stay in the cafe. Parents can contact me if wanting to stay during the workshop. The age range for this workshop is P4 to S1.
