Rule of six

Visitors must adhere to the 'Rule of Six' at all times.

Arrival slots

We have arrival times of 10:00, 11:00, 12:00 and 13:00 available. You have up to 45 minutes from the time of your booked slot to arrive at the Museum. If you book the 13:00 slot however, you are free to arrive until last entry at 16:00.

Museum tickets must be purchased in advance

To ensure visitor safety anyone wishing to visit the Museum, including Gift Aid Annual Pass holders, must purchase a ticket in advance. If you are an existing Annual Pass holder please purchase the free return ticket option and bring your Annual Pass with you on the day.

Flexible ticketing

We're making our tickets as flexible as possible to help in these difficult times. If you are unable to visit on the date booked, we would love to welcome you on a different day. Please contact us in advance to change your ticket. If you are unable to rearrange your visit, we will offer you a refund.

This means that if you are a UK tax payer and opt-in to Gift Aid, we can claim back 25% of the total cost of your annual pass from HMRC. This makes a huge difference to us and helps support all of our charitable work.

If you are not eligible to Gift Aid, you can still choose to donate your entry fee to receive free admission for a year.

Family Ticket - £40

2 adults, 3 children. Other family ticket combinations are available, see website.

Pre-paid/Free ticket - Free

For using Gift/Complimentary tickets or if you are an accompanying carer, JLR employee/pensioner or you have a pre-paid ticket (Explorer Pass, Stay Play Explore , John Lewis Partnership etc).

Promotional Ticket - Free

For redeeming an offer such as Tesco Days Out vouchers, English Heritage and National Rail.

Return visit - Annual Pass - Free

You must bring your valid GIft Aid Annual Pass with you to enter.

Museum Opening Times

We are open on the dates available above, including bank holidays from 10:00-17:00. Timed arrival slots are currently in place at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00 and 13:00 each day.

The Museum is open from 10:00-17:00. The Collections Centre opens from 11:00-17:00.

Access to the Collections Centre is included in your entry fee, you will just need to show your Museum admission ticket at the door to gain entry.
