With expert advice from our tutor Julie, you are sure to make some real tasty family food... and more at this Saturday afternoon session. This workshop is for families with children who have additional learning needs and all ingredients and equipment are included. Learn how to prepare, cook and present food safely and feel the benefit of working together with your child/children. We use seasonal fruits and vegetables to prodduce healthy, low cost recipes that are simple to re-create at home. You will learn how you can reduce your food bill, get hints and tips on how to reduce food waste and how you can use-up leftovers.
November - Winter Warmer. Rainbow chilli and fruit crumble. Prepare a variety of vegetables to produce a colourful chilli and them make a crumble - with a twist!
March - Easter Celebrations. Cooking with eggs. We will make a variety of egg-based dishes such as omlettes, painted hard-boiled eggs and cupcakes. We'll then decorate the cakes with your own sugar craft animal and flower creations.
June - Summer Rainbows. Stir-fry, smoothies and picnic food. We'll use seasonal fruit and vegetables to create simple, healthy picnic snacks and show how to reduce food waste by using leftovers.

The Feel Good Cooking workshops include mindfulness techniques and well-being activities, giving you time to make, find meaning and be mindful. Join us in the lovely Cambridgeshire town of St Neots from 12pm to 3pm. Venue to be decided. Make a day of it - there are many great teashops for a slice of cake in the town afterwards with good shops and places to visit such as the Riverside Park and St Neots Museum.
