Feeling better: a network for change

At the dots: making the connections for change, we know wellness is political. Disconnection, competition, and systemic inequality make our work harder; and make us, our communities, our societies and our economies feel worse. That’s why we’re launching the Feeling Better Network: a free, quarterly space for connection, solidarity and skill-swapping across sectors and silos.

Whether you're running a walking group, sitting at a policy table, caring for your community, or facilitating change behind the scenes - if you believe in justice and compassion, this space is for you. We want to build alliances and allies. We want to think differently about solutions to deep inequalities, and we want to build solidarity across spaces.

No pitches. No pressure. Just shared purpose and space to breathe, think differently, and connect. This session will be lightly facilitated, but it will be up to us to chat together. We'll do our best to create a safer space, and we hope you will too.

Our first session will focus on; what are we working on right now? what support do I need? What support can I give?

We're getting out of silos and into community.

Frequently asked questions

Who can attend?

We want to create a space to build communities outside of our normal networks. If you are working to support people, communities or societies to feel better and want to connect with others in different spaces, this is for you.

I don't work in change making- can I come?

YES!

Are there rules for engagement?

All we ask is that everyone who attends understands that wellness is political- that systemic injustice stops us from feeling better. Individual change and care is not enough- we must create societies based on care and compassion.

What is a safer space?

No space is ever truly trigger free; we come with an open heart and an open mind. None of us know what each other are bringing to different spaces. We will not tolerate sexism, homophobia, racism, transphobia, classism or ablism, and ask that you keep yourself and others safer.

We created the dots: connections for change as we know that change doesn’t happen in silos. Feeling better is deeply political. Systemic injustice holds us all back.
