We are very pleased to confirm that the next FEIFA Masterclass Seminar will be held in Marbella on Thursday 23rd March 2017 at La Sala Banús, Marbella.
This event is for advisers and staff of FEIFA-member firms. If you are not such an individual but wish to attend please contact us.
As always, the presentations will be professional development sessions, not product pushes. It will be a genuine training and educational seminar in keeping with past Masterclasses, and will last for about 3 hours. We are able to issue FEIFA CPD certificates to our members for this event.
The subject matter will be highly relevant and timely - and, as in the past, will cover major industry and market issues. The following companies will be presenting at this event:
Fidelity: “Mind the income gap”
It’s a worrying picture for those seeking income, or yield for growth, particularly with the yield challenge on the verge of significant evolution. The shift in economic stimulus from monetary to fiscal policy, the announcement HS2 will be built in full, and Trump’s “second to none” infrastructure plans all point to a change in landscape for yield generation. Economic convention suggests equities should rise, inflation should increase and bonds should fall – but will this come to pass if political uncertainty continues to drive investors towards safe haven assets? This presentation will help you meet your clients’ income or yield requirements going forward.
Henderson: “Technology – 64 moves on the chess board”
In this presentation, Henderson will discuss the unstoppable exponential growth in technology, and underline the importance of clients allocating to this sector in order to benefit as fully as possible.
Praemium: “How to deliver better client outcomes and build your own long term value”
The international adviser marketplace is facing monumental challenges: increased regulatory scrutiny and charge transparency will inevitably lead to price pressures and higher client expectations. Advisers that recognise the need to make a step change will reap the long term rewards. This presentation will explain how and why investing the time to develop investment and service propositions, and selecting the right technology, will result in better client outcomes – and better, more successful advisers.
Schroders: “Global cities: boosting return potential with global diversification across dynamic real estate markets”
This presentation explains why there are a select number of global cities that are prospering more than the regions in which they are located. It will look at why these cities are the economic winners today and why they will continue to be tomorrow, and explain how a long-term approach to investing in global cities can give investors the best chance of continued capital and income growth through economic cycles.
Registration will open at 09:30am with tea and coffee available. The presentations themselves will run from 10:00am to approximately 1:00pm with a complimentary lunch to follow.
The event has been designed for the requirements of the advisers and support staff of our member firms based in the region. We therefore hope that you will be able to support it and look forward to seeing you at the Seminar.
