This Level 3 course, commonly referred to as the "medium / large fell" course (and what used to be called CS32 and CS33), covers H&S, basic felling cuts for upright trees and how to deal with 'weighted' trees. You'll be practicing the technique used for large felling of trees too. We'll also be dealing with hung-up trees in a safe and appropriate manner, branch removal and cutting to a specification and stacking. The course also covers the use of either (or both!) Tirfor or Lugall winches.
You will need to hold either CS31 or the new Level 2 Award in Felling & Processing Trees Up To 380mm before attending this course.
