Event Details

For this meet up, the last of the current programme, Sarah Harvey will start the meeting by facilitating a lively networking session for attendees to get to know each other a little better.

This will be followed by an open discussion about the future of work, inspired by our upcoming Branch Conference The Future of Work is HERE!

As the world of work is changing it brings many new demands and opportunities for HR and L&D, but as CIPD Chief Executive Peter Cheese says, we also have to step up.

We have to make sure we have the skills and capabilities we need, but also that we have the insights and understanding to make a difference. Key drivers for the future of the profession will be how we work to broader principles of what is good work and good people management, use evidence to drive insight and decision making, and clearly understand the outcomes that make the most difference to the performance of the organisation, but that are also responsible, ethical, and perhaps most importantly, good for people.

Together we will consider what this means for us as a profession and what role do we have to play as Chartered Fellows?

We look forward to an informal and interactive meeting!

The University of Chichester is delighted to be working in partnership with CIPD Sussex and has sponsored the rooms and refreshments for this event.  Please note that tea/coffee/water and biscuits will be provided for this meeting.
