About this event

  • Event lasts 30 minutes

The Fellowship Council plays a key role in ensuring that Fellows are at the heart of the work the RSA undertakes.

The purpose of the Fellowship Council is three-fold, to:

  • Lead, support and build fellowship activity in your area, building connections and communities of Fellows that support the RSA’s vision and values.
  • Support RSA programmes and projects.
  • Represent the views of the wider Fellowship.

There are two types of Fellowship Councillors: Area or Programmatic Councillors.

Area Councillors work closely with Fellowship Engagement Managers and Volunteer Community Leaders to build and shape local activity. Area Councillors work hard to understand the views, needs and interests of Fellows in their local area and make connections.

Programmatic Councillors collaborate with RSA staff to support RSA programmes of work and play a key role in ensuring that Fellows are involved in our Design for Life mission and deliver impact.

Join our Head of Fellowship Engagement, David Jones, as he explains the responsibilities of the Councillor roles and answers any questions you might have.

Taking part in Online Events

For our interactive online events, the RSA uses the platform Zoom. It may be necessary to follow a short set-up process so please allow time for this ahead of the event starting. Zoom call joining details will be sent via email in advance of the event.

Accessibility and Inclusivity

At the RSA, we strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all Fellows. We ask that you fill out the accessibility requirements box in your Eventbrite booking form in advance of our events to ensure that we can accommodate such requirements.
