Why should I spend more on a ticket, if I can just get in for £5?

Accepted Answer

The more you spend on the ticket, the more you directly support these up-and-coming artists and local businesses. Plus, if you spend more, you get more benefits. £7 gets you TWO stickers on your loyalty card, and if you get 4 you win a prize. £10 gets you that plus entry into a giveaway!

Question 2

What if I genuinely can't afford £5 to get in?

Accepted Answer

If you can't afford to pay, don't worry! Come and see us at the event, and speak to the ticket person. We would much rather you feel part of our community! You add value to us in many different ways, not just with your money. All we ask is that you are as supportive as you can be to our artists.

Question 3

Can I show my appreciation to artists through tipping them, or buying them a drink?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely! We strongly encourage human connection in any form at our shows, and that is a perfect way to make it happen! Our artists have worked very hard to write all of their music, and it is a scary thing to do, sharing it with the world. Thank you in advance!

Question 4

Where does the money from my ticket go?

Accepted Answer

We like to keep it simple here at FELT. All of the ticket sales get split 4 equal ways between the three artists that perform, and FELT. to cover costs. If there is a photographer/videographer present as well, the split is 5 ways, totalling 20% each. The more you pay, the better the pay for artists!

Question 5

How do you choose which businesses to work with?

Accepted Answer

We work with businesses and venues that we think would make for magical music spaces. When the business owner expresses interest in partnering with us to put on a show, it means that they are passionate about supporting local artists too! The extra trade on quieter nights doesn't hurt, either!
