Feminism and Cycling Event
Sunday 3rd September 2017, 11:00am – 6:00pm

Day at the Feminist Library to celebrate women, feminism and cycling, including stalls, presentations, discussion, readings and merchandise.

11am-3pm - WAGfest, a celebration of women and bikes.
- 11am-12pm Yoga for cyclists.
- 12pm-1pm Workshop by Claire Tunnacliffe: Everyday Activism - By Bike and In the City.
- 1pm-2pm Workshop by Ellie Smith from Broken Spoke Bike Co-op: on Losing A Friend - the activism that followed the death of Claudia Comberti in Oxford this year.
- 2pm-3pm Panel Discussion on Diversifying Activism and Cycling
Featuring: Suzanne Dhaliwal (UK Tar Sands), Jools Walker (Lady Velo), Niellah Arboine (Galdem Crew - TBC), Chaired by Hanna Thomas (Sum of Us).

3pm-4pm - Screening and readings from Elly Blue and Joe Biel of Microcosm Publishing in US - feminist nonfiction about bicycling.

4pm-4.45pm Q & A with Jenni from London Bike Kitchen and Elly Blue.

4.45pm-6pm Refreshments, music and socialising.
