Join us for this Feminist Pedagogy Workshop on Monday, September 15, from 1pm to 4:30pm at the University of Edinburgh (Room 1.12, Chrystal Macmillan Building). This practical workshop, sponsored by GENDER.ED, has been designed for tutors of the course Understanding Gender in the Contemporary World, but is open to anyone interested in integrating feminist principles into their teaching practice.

Program:

First Block (1pm 2:15pm):

  • Introduction and Feminist Pedagogy Module
  • Designing inclusive and reflexive classroom practices and navigating challenges in the classroom
  • Support services

Break (2:15pm 3:00pm)

Second Block (3:00pm4:30pm):

  • Roundtable on feminist pedagogy with Dr Radhika Govinda, Dr Aerin Lai, Dr Hemangini Gupta, and Dr Rebecca Hewer
