Price: £5.90 (redeemable against the cost of your meal)

Taking place at The Barge House in Dalston, on the 20th August we will be holding FEMITY Presents… Media. This is a ticket only brunch for 20 young women from the FEMITY community and five professional women working in the media industry. Attendees are given the chance to hear from our industry professionals, network amongst themselves and share knowledge over the course of the brunch.

Confirmed Speakers:

Michelle Tiwo is a poet, actor, storyteller and performer best known for her delivery of 'Olivia' in web series, 'Ackee and Saltfish'. She is also the co-founder, co-host and producer of Sistren - a podcast, radio show and art collective that "talk the ting" on issues around self-acceptance, navigating Babylon, misogynoir, and Black womanhood.

Shannie Mears is the brand manager at GUAP magazine working with young talent, artists and brands. She is also the Co-founder of The Elephant Room, a newly founded creative advertising agency.

Georgina Bobb is a freelance television production coordinator with 10 years production and editorial experience and has worked for various independent production companies and national broadcasters. In addition, she is a careers coach, running her own employability business, TV Jobs UK which helps young people gain entry into the media industry.

Basma Khalifa is a fashion stylist and TV presenter. Basma has worked at some of the world's most renowned fashion magazines from Harpers Bazaar to Vogue and worked with some of the world's biggest celebrities. She recently produced a YouTube series called sheis...which tackles the issues with diversity in the fashion industry and is currently in talks with producers on several documentary show developments.

Stephanie Banya is the founder of Innovate Me Digital and has a wealth of experience working as a content creator, media and communications officer and a digital brand and communications coordinator. Combining her passion, skills and professional knowledge Stephanie has successfully created a multi-channel platform that helps start-ups kick start their brand.
