FEN Bristol presents: Feminism - The Next Generation?
Wed 5 April 2017, 19:00 – 21:00 BST
Join FEN Bristol for an evening of discussion on feminist issues that affect young people.
The evening will focus on three main issues:
* Are young people empowered to effect change?
*Are young people educated about choice and consent?
*How do cultural stereotypes affect young people in their life choices?
A panel of three local representatives (TBC!) will be discussing these issues and addressing your thoughts and questions. Please submit any burning questions you might have already through the facebook group, or send an email to maddie.FENBristol@gmail.com
We look forward to welcoming you to an evening of enthusiastic discussion on issues that matter to us all, and would encourage you to bring someone along who may not usually attend these types of events to help us break out the echo chamber!
The Arnolfini cafe will be open for refreshments during this event.
Doors open at 7pm, discussion 7:30-8:30pm and time to mingle between 8:30-9pm.
Any questions send through to maddie.FENBristol@gmail.com.
This event is FREE!! On the evening we will be collecting donations for Self Injury Support, a Bristol based charity that support women in emotional distress (http://www.selfinjurysupport.org.uk), so if you are able to it would be great to bring along some pennies!
