Ferguson's Gang in Newtown

A walk around Newtown reserve with a performance from Peggy Gladstone, leader of Ferguson's Gang who saved the Old Town Hall in the 1930s.

Start: Newtown Visitors Centre, Newtown Nature Reserve

Pace of Walk: Gentle

Walk grade: Easy - Fairly Easy - Gentle, rolling landscape, walking on paths with good to average surfaces. Some walking on gentle inclines, some stiles or steps to be expected en route. Distance up to 5 miles.

Mobility level:Suitable for a person with restricted walking ability and for those that may need to use a wheelchair some of the time.
