An introduction to Food Fermentation with a Live online demonstration of how to make Sauerkraut.

About this Event

Join the team at Bare Health and founder of Wild Pickle Emma Cronin as we delve into the fabulous world of fermentation. If you're new to the idea of food fermentation and want to find out what it's all about then this is the ideal beginners workshop!

Wild Pickle Emma Cronin has been fermenting mad for several years and is passionate about spreading the fermenting love and skills through workshops, pop up restaurants and catering events. Keen to inspire community, family and friends to make and to gather round great quality foods and drinks for health and happiness.

Emma was also a regular stall holder at Rode Hall Farmers Market where her homemade fermented delights gained a fantastic following!

So what will this Live Zoom Workshop entail?

Emma will begin by exploring the history and background of food fermentation along with it's many health benefits backed by scientific study. There will also be a brief introduction to Wild Pickle and how this fabulous local company became into being.

We then move on to a live demonstration of how to make your very own sauerkraut in the comfort of your own home.

The evening will draw to a close with an opportunity for Questions and answers and top 'troubleshooting' tips.

All attendees will receive:

A jar of Wild Pickle Sauerkraut (free collection from Bare Health in Congleton or £6 fee for P&P)

A one off 15% discount on purchases in store at Bare Health, Congleton (offer expires 5pm Saturday 24th April)

Bag of Guerande sea salt (to make your own sauerkraut)
