Festa della Lingua e Cultura Italiana

During the afternoon (between 2pm and 5pm - this event is a FREE EVENT) there will be a seminar and demonstration of southern Italian music, with live instruments and background to these instruments, including the accordion. This event will take place in the main hall, whilst in the smaller hall, there will be an activity and workshop for children to speak Italian, use their imagination to create designs and drawings with other children.

During the EVENING, there will be a ticketed event, a traditional Italian-style FESTA with Chef Enzo Fiore providing a 2 course culinary delight (see menu), followed by a mixture of live Italian music and a Disco.

Mozzarella, Mortadella, Prosciutto Crudo and Salame

Parmiggiana di melanzane (layers of aubergine, rather like a lasagne)

MAIN

Either

Pasta al Forno (real Italian pasta bake, just like Mamma used to make!)

Or

Pennette alla nerano -

Penne pasta with fresh Zucchini, garlic, fresh basil, Provolone and Parmesan

This will be followed by coffee
