Theatre of the Oppressed: An Introduction to Image and Newspaper Theatre on 18th March, starting at 11.30am Theatre of the Oppressed: An Introduction to Forum Theatre on 25th March, starting at 11.30am

Over the course of the two workshops Maria and Diego will introduce some of the main Theatre of the Oppressed techniques Image Theatre, Newspaper Theatre and Forum Theatre. You will explore these techniques and their main objectives.

The aim is to identify and understand key aspects of Theatre of the Oppressed techniques, and use them to turn a socio-political issue that interests you into a piece of theatre, and help people reflect on it.

You will need to wear comfortable clothes to move around in, and a pen and paper.

This session will take place in Spanish with an English interpreter.

This workshop is part of a series being put on by Festival of Spanish Theatre London. Workshops will run on Sundays until May.
