Festival Launch Event: Volcanoes in our Neighbourhood

The Scottish Geology Trust and The Hunterian are proud to host Volcanoes in our Neighbourhood at The Hunterian Museum, University of Glasgow, on Monday the 1st September 6:00 - 8:00pm.

To celebrate the launch of the 2025 Scottish Geology Festival, we'll be joined by a panel of speakers comprising researchers and artist Ilana Halperin, as they discuss volcanos, both in Scotland and around the world, and explore how they affect our lives and the workings of our living planet. 

Light refreshments will be provided and there will be an opportunity for guests to look around the museum exhibits.
