About this event

The Professional Cricketers’ Trust has announced the first set of players that will contest the second edition of the charity’s Festival of Cricket.

This year’s event takes place on Friday 29 July with the PCA England Legends taking on a Kent XI, with the day being held in memory of former Kent legend Alan ‘Iggy’ Igglesden.

Both teams have announced some worldwide names that will be playing in the T20 fixture. Former England batter Ian Bell and Kent skipper and England wicketkeeper Sam Billings bring plenty of international pedigree to their respective teams.

Similarly to last year, the day will combine a warm-up game, celebrity commentators, on-field entertainment, cricket challenges and a showcase T20 match between The England Legends and Kent Cricket XI in the afternoon.

The VIP lunch in the Boundary Room kicks off with a Laurent Perrier champagne reception during the warm-up game, followed by a two-course lunch prepared and served by England Legend Matthew Hoggard. Both teams will be present throughout the lunch and guests will have an opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A.

Tables in the VIP marquee are available, and you can contact our Head of Events & Fundraising Bee Ford at bee.ford@thepca.co.uk for more information.

Food and Beverage concessions will be available for all General Admission tickets.

These include:

• Pizza

• Fish and Chips

• Sliders / burgers

• Ice Cream

• Cocktail bar

• Beer truck

Wondering what to do with kids on the day? We have arranged for the Barmy Army and the Root Academy to host a number of activities for children onfield when there are breaks in play and off the field while the game is on.
