Gary Younge
Another Day in the Death of America
Wed 23 Nov 2016, 19:00-20:00
Waterstones

On Saturday 23 November 2013 ten children were shot dead in the US. The youngest was nine; the oldest was 19. They fell in suburbs, hamlets and ghettos. None made the national news. It was just another day in the death of America, where on average seven children and teens are killed by guns daily.

Gary Younge tells their stories, giving a sobering, searing portrait of the effect of gun crime on children in the US.

Please note that you will be asked of proof for your eligibility of a concession ticket. Concessions apply to Full Time Students, Job Seekers Allowance, Incapacity Benefit claimants, over 60s and disabled people.
