Robert Macfarlane takes us on a deep-time journey into the vast and hidden worlds beneath our feet. From the ice-blue depths of Greenland’s glaciers, to the underground networks by which trees communicate, from Bronze Age burial chambers to the rock art of remote Arctic sea-caves, he voyages into the planet's past and future, transforming our thinking about the Earth in the time of the Anthropocene.

He is in conversation with Andrew Kelly, the director of the Festival of Ideas.

This event is in partnership with We The Curious.
