Festival of Nature Planning Day
Thu 9 February 2017, 10:30 – 12:30 GMT
JOIN US FOR A SPECIAL STAKEHOLDERS PLANNING EVENT FOR FON 2017
Calling all nature groups, scientists, artists, environmentalists, researchers and performers!
The Festival of Nature is the UK's largest free, public celebration of the natural world and one of the only major tourist events to span Bristol and Bath, and provide a dedicated education programme.
From 8th to 25th June 2017 The Festival of Nature will embark on our annual journey of discovery along the River Avon from Bristol to Bath, across three event-filled weeks welcoming 25,000+ visitors to join us.
We'd like you to get involved and help us make 2017 the best year yet, so we're hosting a special stakeholders planning day in Keynsham (half way between Bristol and Bath) where you can discover all the opportunities for your organisation or project to be part of the festival, bring your own fresh ideas and suggestions to help shape the programme, and meet some of the 200+ organisations that get involved each year over a spot of lunch.
So whether you are a festival regular or just thinking about coming along for the first time, we'd love to see you and are especially keen to meet new groups bringing fresh eyes to this diverse and exciting programme as well as those coming from or working with communities not traditionally engaged in the natural world.
All are welcome although spaces may be limited so secure your space early to avoid disappointment.
This event is made possible by funding from the Natural Environment Research Council
