Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

We are very excited to be making our return to Plymouth to bring you another day of talks and workshop.

Check back soon for updates on the line-up - but expect leading scientists and speakers to take you into the weird and wonderful world of physics and its applications. When the programme is finalised, including the workshop tickets being released, everyone who has registered for the festival by this point will be sent an email so you are given the opportunity to register for workshops.

Tea and coffee will be provided in breaks. There is parking on campus and in local car parks, plenty of buses, and it is close to the train station. For lunch there are cafes in the building, on campus, and close by, as well as supermarkets, or you're welcome to bring a packed lunch.

There are small, limited travel grants available for schools in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset, who'd like to bring groups. Please email Vince Smith on vincent.smith@bristol.ac.uk for more information.

This event is free and open to anyone, although we would recommend the talks to over 12s. Workshops will need to be booked separately- space will be tight so please do let us know if you can't make what you signed up for.

Please do spread the word - previous festivals have been very popular and we'd love to encourage even more people to come along and experience something new.
