Description

Health and Places: How Can We Get Better at Creating Places That Support Health?
Festival of the Future City
Tue 17 November 2015, 13.00-14.00
Watershed, Bristol
Free, but booking required

How important is the built and other created environment to our health? What tools are available to us to understand the impact that good or poor urban design and planning can have on our health, and how we get better at creating places that support rather than undermine health? What’s the likely impact of devolution for cities and healthy places? Speakers include: Marcus Grant (WHO), Jane Powell (UWE) and David Walker (Guardian; writer and journalist).

Part of the Health strand of the Festival of the Future City.

In association with Bristol Health Partners.

Prebooking is required. You need to show your ticket at the door.

We have restricted the number of tickets that can be booked to two per transaction. This has been introduced in an effort to stop people automatically booking multiple tickets without confirming if they have guests to go with them. We hope this will help to limit the number of 'no shows' at the events, which currently run at around 35% of bookings. We will monitor the situation. If you need more than two tickets, you can click on the booking link again. The little extra effort involved will hopefully put off those who don’t really need more than two, but not those who do.

Please ensure you use the correct email address. This is where your ticket will be sent. If you do not provide the correct address, you will not receive the acknowledgement email or ticket.
