Description

Festival of Thought Women’s Summit is an opportunity to consider the biggest questions facing working women in South Africa. What does success look like? What’s the purpose in my 9-5? Where can I find certainty in an uncertain world? Hosted by Brenda Scrooby (née Horne), a multiple award winning businesswoman, Festival of Thought Women’s summit will offer much for both the heart and intellect as well as insights and perspective from the Christian worldview. Amy Orr-Ewing, Director of RZIM for Europe, Middle East and Africa will address the question:Is Christianity Bad News for 21st Century Women?” Dr. Tanya Walker, Dean of the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics will consider “Questions Worth Asking in Pursuit of Success.Amy and Tanya will be joined by the inspirational Rachel Mutesi, sharing thoughts from the position of a Christian woman on the frontline of compassionate ministry in Uganda and Lusanda Mashua, whose compelling artistic performances will garner the evening with beauty. All this, with live music, a chance for interactive Q&A with every speaker and light refreshments stand to mark the event as a red-letter day in the history of our beloved country.
