Event description

Description

Interfaith Glasgow and Garnethill Hebrew Congregation invite you to join us for an Interfaith Passover* Seder.

This is a unique opportunity for people from diverse faith backgrounds to join members of Garnethill Synagogue as they share the rich Passover traditions with friends and interfaith guests.

The proceedings will be led by Eddie Binnie who will explain the significance of the festival and meal. The dinner includes traditional Seder dishes and is a great way to learn more about the Jewish community in Glasgow.

There will be an opportunity to have a tour of the Synagogue at 5pm. If you would like to do this, please let us know in the booking stage by ticking the appropriate box.

We kindly ask that all attendees dress modestly as is customary in synagogues.

Please do not wear sleeveless tops or dresses.

Gentlemen will be asked to cover their heads. Kippot (skull caps) will be provided.

If you require any further information please email: projects@interfaithglasgow.org

* please note: This event will follow the rituals and traditions of the Passover Seder with the intention of sharing the experience with the interfaith community. However, the event will not be in the actual Passover period which is between 10th-17th of April.
