What is included in the Festive Afternoon Tea?

Accepted Answer

A selection of festive sandwiches, Christmas themed cakes, scones, mini mince pies and handmade chocolates. Served with a glass of Il Caggio Doc prosecco and English Breakfast Tea. An option suitable for meat eaters, and one for vegetarians is available. See pictures in cover images for details.

Do you cater for allergies with the afternoon tea?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately due to the nature of the event we cannot cater for allergies or dietary requirements. We do, however, offer a meat eaters festive afternoon tea, and a vegetarian festive afternoon tea. Simply select which option you would like when booking.

Question 3

Are you holding any more Christmas events this year?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We have Christmas Wreath Making; Breakfast with the Real Santa Liverpool at The Wheelbarrow and our sister venue, The Watering Can;  and festive choir and a fabulous evening's entertainment and set menu at The Watering Can. See Instagram for The Wheelbarrow and The Watering Can.

Question 4

Is there parking at The Wheelbarrow

Accepted Answer

Yes there is a car park directly outside the cafe. There are several spaces dedicated to blue badge holders. There is also on street parking and parking next to the park. We cannot however guarantee parking as sometimes the area around the cafe does get very busy.

Question 5

Is The Wheelbarrow accessible for disabled people?

Accepted Answer

Yes we are fully accessible. The toilets, which are shared with the College next door, are also fully accessible. There are several dedicated parking spaces for blue badge holders. However, we do not operate the car park, and these spaces are only available on a first come first served basis.

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

We do not offer refunds for this event.

Question 7

Can I bring my dog to the Festive Afternoon Tea with Allerton Brass Band

Accepted Answer

Whilst we are a dog-friendly venue ordinarily, we do not recommend bringing your dog to this event as the brass band is very loud and it may be uncomfortable for your fluffy friend.

How do I book?

Accepted Answer

We have two sittings of Festive Afternoon Tea with Allerton Brass Band on Saturday 14 December. Click 'Get Tickets' and then choose if you would like to join us at 1 to 3pm or 3.30 to 5.30pm.  You can also choose if you would like the option suitable for meat eaters, or for vegetarians.
