Come join Rebecca Yoxall in her new studio for a full day of playing, sorry I mean painting, with the wonderful adirondack alcohol inks on a ceramic plate and cup as well as Yupo paper
ALL MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOU TO USE so just come along and enjoy :-)
Adirondack Alcohol Inks by Tim Holtz / Ranger Ink come in 54 colors, including "lights", "brights", and "earth tones" and beautifully appear more vibrant on non-porous surfaces (such as a plastic) and slightly muted on porous surfaces (such as paper)
YUPO is 100% recyclable, waterproof, tree-free Synthetic Paper with attributes and properties that make it the perfect solution for a variety of artworks. It is super smooth and durable, wipes clean and is great for use with these inks.
We will have fun experimenting with a variety of techniques and this will enable you to produce lovely experimental paintings on the yupo and a finished artwork on a ceramic plate and cup by the end of the day. Subjects will include festive patterns, wintery themes of snow/snowflakes, wreaths and winter foliage.
The day will include an introduction into the materials, lots of painting demonstrations and group instruction with plenty of one to one tuition to support you as you work in an informal and relaxed setting.
Please make sure you have OLD CLOTHES OR AN APRON as inks can stain!!!!!!!!!
This workshop is suitable for total beginners as well as anyone that may have used Alcohol inks before.
You will be able to order/Purchase materials should you wish to try this wonderful medium in your own time.
Please note you DO NOT need to print out the email confirmation as I will have all names on a register
There is plenty of parking and you can enter the studio via the white door that is circled on the left side of the image at the side of the building. The Orangery is highlighted in red.
Should you need further directions or have any questions at all please email firstname.lastname@example.org
