Join us for a magical festive afternoon for you and your children on Highfield Campus.

Storytime with Santa is a ticketed experience. Please note Storytime with Santa sessions has now sold out; email events@soton.ac.uk, with the subject title 'Waitlist for Santa". Please state which time slot you would like to be added to the waitlist for and the number of guest tickets required.
There will still be plenty for your children to see and do even if you do not wish to see Santa. To book your ticket please select “Festive Family Event without Storytime with Santa” option.

This year we are holding a new style event, so if you have attended previous Festive Family Events, be prepared for a different experience! There will be lots of surprises on the day, and we can share now that the afternoon will include Storytime with Santa, crafts to enjoy, face painters, photo opportunities and a soft play area.

New for this year, neurodiverse families and those with additional needs are able to book a shorter and more relaxed visit with Santa at the beginning of the event (limited tickets). We will also have a Relaxed Room available for your use, with quieter activities and crafts.

Please register all members of your party, ensuring to include all ages of the children attending. For example, if you are registering yourself and two children, please select three tickets from the drop down box. 

Registered guests are able to enjoy a complimentary hot or cold drink (from a selection available), and the Arlott Bar will also be open for purchases of drinks and snacks.

You can enjoy the other activities taking place between16:00-18:00 around your Santa visit.
The complimentary drink is limited to one per person.
You may be asked to show your University ID if you are a current member of staff. Anyone under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult whilst on campus.

This event is for the families of staff, students, alumni and supporters of the University of Southampton.
