
Festive Public Engagement Network with New Scientist Live!
Overview
We are delighted to welcome Jacqui McCarron and Henry Gomm of New Scientist Live, the world’s greatest festival of ideas and discoveries!
Their talks will provide detail about paid-for and free opportunities including talks and exhibits focused on science and discovery. With an anticipated audience of over 26,000 attendees, you can be confident of fulfilling your engagement objectives, including:
- Inspiring the next generation of to consider a career in STEM
- Public Engagement and Outreach
- Showcasing research and innovation
- Supporting social value and CSR objectives
- Brand awareness
- Engaging with underserved communities

The next festival will take place on Saturday 10 October, Sunday 11 October and Monday 12 October (Schools’ Day) 2026 at Excel London and colleagues are encouraged to take part and/or visit to celebrate everything you love about science, technology and the wonders of our universe.
All staff and PGRs are welcome to join us on 17 December to find out more and enjoy a complimentary lunch. Jacqui and Henry will also be available for some 1:1 discussion after the event.
