Welcome to the Festive Pyrography Workshop!
Come join us at Milestone Studios and begin to get into the festive mood with a relaxing morning, learning the craft of pyrography. In this workshop, you'll get hands-on experience with woodburning tools and techniques. Whether you're a complete novice or have dabbled in pyrography before, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to unleash their creativity. Christine from Burnt Cookies will guide you through the basics of pyrography, from selecting the right tools to creating your own unique designs. By the end of the workshop, you'll have 3 beautiful hand burned and painted wooden tree decorations to take home and show off to your friends and family.
There will be some beautiful wood cookies for you to burn on, all around 6cm in diameter. You can either bring some of your own sketches/design inspiration or use some of the available templates, we'll show you how to transfer these onto the wood and some pyrography and painting techniques to bring your artwork to life. Your tree decorations will be treated with a protective wood finish and strung with velvet ribbon to finish.
