About this event

Community • Heritage

Listen to a cosy wintertime tale and then create your own shadow puppet story characters.

There will be a chance for everyone to re-tell the story together using their puppets. You can expect a cast of woodland animals and magical beings!

Led by artist Tessa Asquith-Lamb and storyteller Anne Hunter.

Suitable for everyone aged six years and over.

About the workshop leaders

Tessa Asquith-Lamb is an artist and freelance art educator based in East Lothian. She studied Fine Art at Edinburgh College of Art and has exhibited her work throughout the UK. Her creations reflect her love of stories and storytelling, and her trusty sketchbook is central to her creative practice.

Anne Hunter is a storyteller, artist and musician who tells traditional tales and myths from Scotland and around the world as well as stories in and of place. She explores our relationship with both urban and rural environments. Her background as an artist and art therapist and her use of music and song help support creativity, collaboration and community.
