Festive Tetrapak Printing Workshop

Join us for a festive workshop to design and print your own original images for stationery or gifts. This is the first of our two-part festive workshop series.

Using recycled Tetrapak cartons, you will make simple shapes or pictures for printing, use a pasta maker as a basic press to create several copies from your design, and learn some techniques and tools for texture in the finished piece.

Suitable for beginners. A mindful and relaxing seasonal activity.🎄

We will provide:

• all cutting and printing tools and materials.
• examples of printed designs to get your creative juices flowing.
• festive refreshments.

Feel free to bring:

• anything you'd like to use for design inspiration (we'll have plenty too).
• any printing tools if you have them (if not, we'll have plenty available to borrow or buy).
• £5 in cash to buy a small set of printing tools, if you wish (scalpel & etching tool).

This relaxed pace, small group workshop will be led by Helen Pateman of Happy Beagle Designs: local artist, co-lead of our Green Sketch Club and popular Simply Repair workshops tutor.

Being accessible and inclusive to everyone is important to us at Simply Repair. If you want to join us on any of the workshops but financial circumstances prevent this, please get in touch at info@ simplyrepair.org.uk so we can help. All requests are confidential, and we offer a no questions asked policy. We will do our best to accommodate but, in the event, where the workshop is already full, we can discuss future options.

Refunds and Cancellations

Tickets will be refunded if:

• The event is cancelled
• The event is rescheduled, and you cannot make the new date
• The event changes location, and you cannot attend
• If you have been charged a booking fee, unfortunately this cannot be refunded.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds if:

• You can no longer attend the event due to personal circumstances
• You have changed your mind about attending the event

We hold repair events where you can get small electricals, clothes, furniture, toys and other household items fixed free of charge. We bring together people with skills to repair and those who want to learn how. Our aims at Simply Repair are to reduce waste, share skills, improve wellbeing and build communities.
