This registration system allows Formby High School parents, who identify in the 'key worker' areas, to book places for our 'Open School' programme.

Registration is for full day attendance from 9.00am - 3.00pm

Students should report to the Sixth Form Centre at 9.00am

School uniform will not be required. Students should be dressed appropriately for productive school work but should bring separate clothing that is suitable for playing sport

Daily lessons will provided in the form of a weekly timetable, covering a range of subjects and activities as well as time for independent study on our 'Remote Classroom' work

Students will be required to bring their own packed lunch.

The government has been very clear on its advice for people to avoid congregation and to practice social distancing, and has provided the following guidance to schools and parents regarding children of key workers accessing school’s provision during the closure period:

It is important to underline that schools, colleges and other educational establishments remain safe places for children. But the fewer children making the journey to school, and the fewer children in educational settings, the lower the risk that the virus can spread and infect vulnerable individuals in wider society.

Schools are, therefore, being asked to continue to provide care for a limited number of children – children who are vulnerable and children whose parents are critical to the Covid-19 response and cannot be safely cared for at home.

If children can stay safely at home, they should, to limit the chance of the virus spreading.

We are now asking families to book places for weeks beginning Monday 1 June and Monday 8 June. A further booking form will be made available for future weeks in due course.

To assist with planning, please try to book your child(ren)’s place by midday on Friday 29 May. If you do not require a place for your child and wish to be withdrawn from the mailing list for eligible families, please email admin@formbyhighschool.com.

At the 'checkout', you will be asked to input the names of your children attending 'Open School'. There is an option to copy details from the first booking day to other dates to avoid retyping.
