Is lunch provided on the day?

Lunch is not provided on the day, please ask the young people to bring their own pack lunches.

Question 2

Do I need to print off my ticket?

Accepted Answer

If you have the app (Eventbrite) then you can keep your ticket on it and use it upon entry. You can also print off the ticket or in the worse case take a photo/screenshot and this can be used at the event.

Question 3

Why do I need a ticket? We have never needed one.

Accepted Answer

It is important that we know who is present in the building at all times and know that people have booked in advance instead of just turning up on the day.

Question 4

Why is there only 25 tickets available for each ceremony?

Accepted Answer

A ticket can only be purchased by a FIA Co ordinator. This year we have around 50 parishes and schools signed up. It allows an even split for both events.

Question 5

Why can I only order 1 ticket?

Accepted Answer

1 ticket = Staff and a maximum of 50 participants. If you have any more young people please contact l.lynch@animateyouth.co.uk.

Question 6

What do I and the  participants get with the ticket?

Accepted Answer

The ticket allows access to the ceremony and the fun day afterwards. Including games, inflatables (bouncy castles and gladiator duel etc), soft drinks, cakes and cookies.

Is there a risk assessment available for the event?

Question 8

What happens if it is not good weather?

Accepted Answer

We can't guarantee good weather. As the fun day comes after the ceremony you may decide to just leave straight away. If that is not possible, or you want to keep the group out for more of the day and enjoy some time as a group, we do have space in the house for you to gather and have your picnic.

Do the young people have to wear uniform?

This is at the discretion of the school or parish.

Question 10

Can parents attend the ceremony or the fun day?

Accepted Answer

We would ask that due to the nature of the event and with the Fun Day in the garden we do not want lots of adults walking around who we do not know. Therefore, as with any school excursion, we do not think it is good practice at this type of event to have parents coming along with their children.

Question 11

How many staff can attend?

Accepted Answer

There is no maximum number, how many you like. Each adult will be given a wristband upon entry. This allows us to make sure that the grounds are safe for the young people attending.

How many young people can attend?

Accepted Answer

The maximum number for each ticket is 50. If this is a problem please contact l.lynch@animateyouth.co.uk.
