CCLA – our hosts will talk about how they’ve been working with churches and faith organisations throughout the UK to ensure the funds we raise work as hard once raised, and are invested in line with our values and beliefs.
10.45am Session 1. Keynote Speaker: Philanthropist Andrew Edmiston,
Managing Director of the IM Group Ltd, Son of Lord Edmiston
Andrew, as a philanthropist, will share the difference he wants to make in lives of others through his philanthropy. He will talk about: -
• Why supporting God's kingdom financially is important to him
• What he looks for when organisations approach him
• Why some organisations receive funding and others don't
• How the Holy Spirit and prayer guides him
Followed by a Question and Answer time

2.15pm Session 2. New regulations, research and policy updates
Dan Fluskey from the Institute of Fundraising will talk about the new fundraising regulations, as well as some recent research from the IoF.
Redina Kolaneci will speak about how Christian fundraisers should react to the new Regulations.
3.15pm Session 3. Securing major gifts
Break into groups to talk and share about what has worked or hasn't worked in acquiring major gifts for your ministry. Come prepared to share.
