Event description

Description

Tuesday 7th November, 1.30-4pm, Fife

Interested in whether reduced tillage really works? Come along to find out how we have been getting on with this field lab, trying out different methods of weed control like the use of black plastic, and exploring the impact on soil health.

It’ll be a great chance to see what’s really worked, and to find out more about how tillage, soil health and biology can impact yield. Read our reports and notes so far, and be sure to join us for the meeting itself.

If you’re a farmer, grower or land manager, book your free place now by clicking on the 'Register' button: it’s open to all but we’re expecting this session to fill up quickly, and booking is absolutely essential. We'll give you exact venue details when you book.

For more information call Jane on 0131 666 2474, or email jdingwall@soilassociation.org.

If you aren't a farmer, grower or landmanager, your place will be charged at £40 + VAT - please call Jane on 0131 666 2474, or email jdingwall@soilassociation.org to arrange with us rather than using this online form.

Funding for this activity is made available through the SRDP Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Fund (which is jointly funded by the Scottish Government and the European Union), with partner funding from Quality Meat Scotland, Forestry Commission Scotland, Innovative Farmers and The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Foundation.
