We invite you to join us for a one-day, interdisciplinary postgraduate workshop for those who either have experience or plan to carry out research in or related to Latin America and the Caribbean. The workshop will provide the opportunity for postgraduate students and established academics to discuss and analyse themes and issues related to their research.

The workshop is organised by PILAS (Postgraduates in Latin American Studies) and CLACS (Centre for Latin American and Caribbean Studies) in collaboration, and will be held on Tuesday 5th December 2017 from 9 am to 5pm in the SALC Graduate School at the University of Manchester.

We encourage postgraduates and early career researchers throughout the UK to attend. A number of bursaries will be available to contribute towards travel costs. Priority will be given to those who cannot claim travel bursaries from other sources.
